Step two: The AFA Peel will be applied in a thin, even layer on the face, left to work its magic for 1-2 minutes, and then rinsed from the skin. Afterwards, Allana will discuss the appropriate aftercare steps with you.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Prior to your visit, we recommend you check the following as some may be contraindicated towards certain facial treatment and will need a few weeks of intervals prior to being treated.

    •  Accutane or other medications similar

    • Botox and or fillers

    • Certain Antibiotics

    • Certain Retinol, Retinoids or Vitamin A

    • Cold sores, acne breakouts

    • If you have just undergone any type of Ablative laser treatments

    Light Therapy Contraindications 

    • Do not use over the breast or stomach of the breast-feeding or pregnant person.
    • Do not use on infants or children.
    • Do not use if the patient or administrator has epilepsy or history of seizures.
    • Avoid using when the patient is taking cortisone injections or any other kind of steroid injections.
    • Avoid use if the patient is using photosensitive drugs. Do not perform LED therapy over known cancer tumour or metastasis.
